All Day Workshop (Open to 25 photographers)
Hands-on Portfolio Workshop with Selina Oppenheim
Take a huge leap forward this year and commit to building a portfolio
that will sell your visual talent to clients. How? By joining consultant
and author Selina Oppenheim (Author of PORTFOLIOS THAT SELL) as she leads
you and 24 other photographers through the steps of creating a portfolio
that sells.
You will work in small groups throughout the day as you begin to develop
your new portfolio. You will be using your current work and assignments
that Selina will ask you to produce prior to the workshop. You will leave
with:
• Your own personal positioning statement
• Information on client markets appropriate to your vision
• An inventory of existing images in your portfolio that are truly
appropriate for
your new book
• New shot ideas
• Portfolio format options for your book.
• 35 pages of handout material that details the steps to take when
building a
portfolio that sells
As a group we will all review 5 completed portfolios, all with different
housing formats, that are currently selling in the marketplace.
This is an intense all-day program that wills kick-start your portfolio
building process. A current portfolio is not needed. Selina will send
all pre-registered attendees a letter detailing what you will need to
do to prepare for the day.
