Many photographers assume that the switching to digital simply means changing
equipment and using a digital camera instead of film. Many also assume
that digital is cheaper than film. These philosophies couldn't be farther
from the truth. The entire process of digital is different from analog.
Even the most advanced photographers can improve their workflow. Seth
will discuss the process of digital capture, file naming conventions,
hardware, software, shooting tips, Photoshop tips, pre-press techniques,
color management, archiving, metadata, and how to make money with the
business side of shooting digital. Seth has been working hand in hand
with Adobe as an alpha developer trying to perfect workflow for photographers.
With the advent of Photoshop CS, photographers will find a significant
boost in their ability to manage digital workflow.
